Hello Sail Families!
We have been enjoying our time together the last few weeks.
A couple weeks ago, we listened to music and drew out what the sound looked like. For example, if the music had a fast tempo, then we made fast marks on our papers. The artists really seemed to enjoy this activity.
Our next activity was creating clay sculptures. We verified that everyone in Club had worked with clay before and discussed how this clay was different from that clay.
The first step was to sketch out our ideas in our sketchbooks. Then we moved on to sculpting. During this process, artists used critical thinking to problem solve roadblocks and help their fellow artists.
