Hello Sail Families!
We greatly enjoyed our time together for our final few weeks.
The students used their sketchbooks to sketch out ideas surrounding the creation of their own characters. They were also challenged to imagine the world that that character lives in. Over the course of the final 3 weeks, the students were given time to work through the project adding as many details as they could dream of.
While working, the kids got really inventive with how they constructed their characters. Some made puppets and 3D elements while imagining where their characters live and how they interact with their environment. A few of the students chose to collaborate on a world where both of their characters could coexist. As a class, they were very helpful and encouraging to each other and didn't give up.
