In 2016, Elizabeth released her own baby wish into the universe to make and sell fine art. Today Elizabeth's art practice has grown beyond that baby wish to include community engagement, teaching, art programming, interactive art, and public art. She now works with a team under the EllaFae Art banner to accomplish these projects.
Claire Kiester joined us in January as our Studio Coordinator. Claire has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fiber, Textile, and Weaving Arts from School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has previously interned with Elizabeth. She is our go-to person for... well, almost everything. From social media management to art execution, we can count on her to get things done and done well.
Marcelle Vielot joined us in May as an Intern through partnership with She Built This City.
Marcelle has supported the #NoDaCloudwall by attending lift training with EllaFae Art and using those skills to paint concrete walls and 3-Dimensional clouds.
She is a phenomenal person with a Master's Degree in Africana Women's Studies from Clark Atlanta University and skills ranging from beekeeping to Cricut machine magic. Although Marcelle is only with us for a short time, she has greatly impacted the EllaFae Art team.
Esther Davidson joined EllaFae Art in July as the Business Operations Manager. She comes with an Associate Degree in Business Administration and Accounting and experience from various industries, most recently from construction and engineering. Esther uses her organization skills to keep us all on track.
Keep an eye on our socials as we are working on future opportunities to partner with our team.
