Over the last few weeks, these artists have been hard at work creating their own articulating robots. They began by sketching their designs, and many made changes along the way that completely transformed their final creations. Some students plan to give their robots as gifts, so we won’t reveal who made which one just yet.

In addition to their robots, they also made ornaments, gift bags, and cards. Each ornament is one-of-a-kind, with every artist choosing materials that felt right to them and expressing their creativity in their own unique way.

Throughout this club, it has been incredibly special to watch them grow, making their own decisions, experimenting, and trying new things with confidence. By the end, they were completing everything independently while Virginia and I guided and encouraged them through the process.

We’re so proud of all they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what they create next.
