On the 22nd, we finished our weavings and sketched out ideas for our final projects. Then, on the 29th, we began bringing those ideas to life by starting our wooden robot sculptures. We’re combining the skills we’ve developed over the past few weeks, like weaving, beading, and assembling, to create unique robots with movable parts, woven and beaded details, and colorful painted pieces.

I’m so excited about this project, these young artists have been so enthusiastic, and it’s been great to see their creativity come to life!
