This class is for artists and creatives.

Whether you are just getting started with community engagement or you would like to level up, this workshop is for you.

In this Live Virtual Class, Elizabeth Palmisano, Art Beyond co-founder and the artist behind Charlotte's largest community responsive public art piect, #NoDaCloudwall, will bring you proven strategies to build excitement, get community buyin, and get people to show up to community engagement events.

There will also be dedicated time at the end of our class for Q&A. So write down your questions, grab a cold drink, and we’ll see you on Zoom!

About your instructor:

Elizabeth Palmisano is an award-winning mixed-media installation, fiber, and public artist based in Charlotte, NC. She holds a BA with a concentration in Diversity and Cultural Awareness. Palmisano’s art career began in 2016 and a mere 7 years later she became the artist behind Charlotte's largest community-responsive public art piece, and the first of its kind #NoDaCloudwall. This award winning work is a sculptural mural spanning over 23,000 square feet. Her work is in private and public collections and has been exhibited at galleries and museums such as The Mint Museum, The McColl Center, and Bliss Gallery. She was voted “Best Visual Artist” in the QC Nerve 2020 and 2022 Best in the Nest Awards.
